IC INFORMATION

Age: Never specified in canon but he had a coming of age ceremony in the first season (Excalibur 1x09), meaning he turned 21, so he should be around 23 or so by now. Early twenties, either way.
Canon: BB'S Merlin
Canon Point: 3x13 - The Coming of Arthur: Part 2
Species: Prat Human.
Gender: Male / Male
Orientation:

Though it is never specified directly, Arthur's main love interest in the series is with a woman, Guinevere. He's never been shown to have any sort of leaning towards men, though he's never directly said anything against it either. But seeing as he is from a medieval time and a prince-turned-king of a kingdom, it is custom and expected of him to, of course, marry a woman who will then become the queen of Camelot.

History: Here we go.
Appearance: Here we go.
Personality:

When we first meet Arthur Pendragon, he appears to be like everything other young man around his age; arrogant and rude, picking on Merlin like a dictionary example of a bully. That is how he starts out, an almost spoiled prince of Camelot who is used to getting his way, to never being challenged in the way Merlin will. Arthur isn't afraid to use his title against people, the privileges that come with being Uther's son gaining him access and power over people and it all leaves him with certain expectations of what he is and what he deserves,

Thankfully, despite the utter prat-like outer shell, Arthur does a fine job in growing up into a far better man, and king.

A leader through and through, when all games are played and done with, Arthur knows when the time to be serious is. He knows the burden that comes with ruling over a great kingdom like Camelot, knows to fear the idea of failure and duty though at the same time he is ready to embrace is birthright, only ever to give it all up in the name of his love for Guinevere. He is brave in that way, ready to stand for what the truly believes despite often knowing, and being worried, about his father's reaction and with that the reaction of the entire kingdom. But his braveness shines in other ways too, as he's a fierce warrior, never once backing down from a fight or war even though his life is almost always on the line. Even when he lost his battle to Morgause, and she requested he come to her, he went without hesitation. There, she told him to kneel before her and lay his head onto a chopping block which he did as he'd lost and was hers to command as her prize. Approving of his bravery, Morgause didn't however bring the axe down and instead states how impressed she was with his bravery.

Another fine quality in Arthur is his fairness. Unlike his father, Arthur displays time and time again how he's ready to pardon certain crimes with lesser punishments where as Uther would take a life. He is able to see when someone is innocent, even with elements sometimes claiming otherwise, though this also often leads to torn feelings between remaining loyal to Uther's wishes and doing the right thing. Still, ready to offer himself up more often than not, Arthur cannot stand innocent people suffering because of him or his acts, and is more likely to want to avoid unnecessary conflict where other are in danger if being harmed, like war.

Still, when someone is guilty, Arthur will go with the route of justice despite what he want personally. As the once and future king of Camelot, he knows he needs to be able to set an example for his kingdom and a to-slack attitude will only cause him more trouble. It's with a heavy heart that he's forced to sometimes stand aside when his friends, or other people he cares for, are blamed of something Arthur doesn't know if they did or didn't do. Of course, if there really is no evidence proving either way for certain, he'll try to prove them innocent to the best of his efforts.

Being the once and future king, Arthur is an excellent leader. Able to take on the task of leading anything from a few people to a whole mass of them effectively, he's excellent in taking on commanding role. He has his moments of insecurity, where he's not entirely sure if he's fit to lead people, or if their loyalty might be misplaced. Still, he doesn't show this weakness in front of them, knowing how to keep inspiration strong.

Being so young, Arthur truly has his moments of being easily influenced and insecure in some aspects. His morale isn't always as strong as it should be, and sometimes he has a hard time trying to figure out who to listen to when trying to make the right decision. This is especially true when it comes to magic, as he's been both saved and hurt by it multiple times. Even when someone uses magic to clearly help, Arthur often reverts back to his mentality that the act of it is evil and should be banned when things including magic go wrong. He sometimes goes as far as to change his mind mid-something, letting his insecurities and indecisions get the best of him.

If looking past hit title and role in Camelot, Arthur is still just a boy with a charming, boyish nature. This side of him is most present with Merlin, whom he likes to tease relentlessly. He has the most friend-like of relationships with him, going from easy banter to opening up more and more to him as he realizes Merlin will truly stand by his side, both as his servant and friend. He has moments of deeper insight with Merlin too, however, and is slowly starting to see how valuable his friend's advice can be. That doesn't stop him from nit-picking on every bit of what Merlin does or looks like though.

Goodnatured and spirited, Arthur has fire under his skin of the angry kind as well. Quick tempered and fast to lash out, he's nothing nice once his anger has risen, and often makes rash decisions that haven't been thought through entirely at times.

Arthur Pendragon is a good, albeit flawed person, always striving to do the best while still growing into his important role as Camelot's once and future king.

Abilities:

Arthur is an excellent swordsman. As the prince of Camelot, he's been training with various types of weapons his entire life, and excels mostly with a two-handed steel sword. It is often shown in canon that he is difficult to beat, only being ever bested three times times in one-on-one combat. He has enough stamina and skill to take on more than one opponent, and can handle multiple strong blows from enemies far bigger and stronger than himself. Even when wounded, Arthur is known to keep on fighting.

He also knows how to wield a lance, a mace and can be dangerously accurate when throwing knives.

He is also a tactical man, good at planning battle formations and any means on how to take on an enemy. His leadership skills have many believing he will indeed one day be a good king, as he has defended Camelot with his knights on more than one occasion.

Other: Don't think there's anything else to add.
